From school we were allowed to visit the monastery for a number of afternoons. There we were challenged to take pictures of the things that give us peace of mind. To get into the mood we got a short workshop in meditation, which was very educational. The photos we took were eventually exhibited for a while during the Silence Festival.
I spent the whole afternoon walking around the stained glass windows that enclosed a beautiful courtyard. I was at peace with myself completely.
Then actually came the tricky part. To select photos that I would like to hang during the exhibition. In the end I chose two beautiful photos. They are neatly hung and have a nice white border.
The top photograph was used by an art teacher of mine to create digital invitations for us to send around in our network.
