An assignment from school was that I had to write a manifesto. But, what is a manifesto? A manifest is some kind of statement. It is a document in which you write what you stand for, or where the group you are with stands for. What you agree with, what you don’t agree with and why. It is about yourself, and how you see certain things.
For example, I find process very important when doing visual research. It is not that I think everyone should be focused on a process, but that it is very, very useful. You take steps, you reflect, you create and you reflect and you improve or try again. That is process.
